Did an angel save girl from dying in hospital?

Here's my thought about... Did an angel save girl from dying in hospital? Disabled teen recovered after glowing image appeared on monitor by Mike Celizic TODAYshow.com contributor updated 12/23/2008 10:02:00 AM ET A 14-year-old girl with a history of serious health issues lay dying of pneumonia in a hospital room. But as her mother waited for the girl to take her last breath, an image of bright light appeared on a security monitor. Within an hour, the dying girl began a recovery that doctors are at a loss to explain. But Colleen Banton, the girl's mother, has an explanation. “This was an image of an angel,” she told NBC News in a story reported Tuesday on TODAY. She credited the apparition with saving the life of her daughter Chelsea. No hope The incident happened in Charlotte, N.C., in September. Chelsea had been born five weeks prema...

Stories to Inspire Faith

Here's my thought about... Trans World Radio, with an annual budget of little more than $10,000, faced a half-million-dollar down payment, to be paid in $83,000 installments every second month. On the deadline day for the second installment they were $13,000 short. $5,000 arrived that morning, but nothing more. The director shuffled to the bank with the knotted stomach of a schoolboy sent to the principal’s office. Before he reached the bank a worker handed him an unexpected mail delivery containing another $5,000. Missed by just $3,000! A knife to the stomach would have been less painful. As he slumped in the seat of the bank president’s office, contemplating the hefty penalty for not meeting a payment, money was wired to the TWR account – $3,000. On the day the next payment was due, after every piece of mail had been scoured they were $1,500 short. Not another cent arrived. Most of the donations were in German marks and they had checked the exchange rate the day before. They re...

Blessings and Miracles By Andrew Wommack

Here's my thought about... Blessings and Miracles By Andrew Wommack It’s true that we serve a God of miracles. But brace yourself, because what I am going to say about that will come as a total shock to some of you . The Lord’s preference is not to meet your needs through a miracle. Now before you think I’ve lost all my faith, hear me out. I define a miracle as the suspension or superseding of natural laws, and personally, I’ve received many. There is no doubt in my mind that the Lord performs miracles and uses them like a bell to draw people unto Himself. But let me ask you, would you rather receive a miracle of healing or live with the blessing of good health? Would you rather have the Lord perform a miracle to pull you out of bankruptcy or be so blessed financially that He wouldn’t have to? I think the logical answer to both of those questions is obvious. It’s always better to avoid problems, which is the result of living in blessing, than it is to be delivered...

Believing God for Financial Miracles

Here's my thought about... Faith for Finances How would you like to amass so much wealth that you could educate 122,683 children; buy 282,000 Bibles and one and a half million New Testaments; give away 112 million books, pamphlets and tracts; support hundreds of missionaries; and feed, clothe and house 10,000 children from the time they were orphaned until becoming independent? George Muller did. And he achieved this not by sweat and business acumen, not by garage sales and mailing lists, not by borrowing or asking for help, but solely by faith and prayer. He refused to let his needs be known to anyone but God. Fifty times in just one two-year period there were insufficient funds to see them through the day, yet what was needed always came in time. Though Muller enjoyed God’s miraculous provision daily for more than sixty years, the life of faith never grew easy for him. Even in his latter years when he gained international fame, he still had to pray in every penny, often having t...

Money Cometh

Here's my thought about... Financial Miracle Last Year, whilst pondering on why the Body of Christ had so many financial needs, the Lord spoke and said "In desperate need. Sow some seed" Here is a testimony from a Pastor in Kenya who was down to his last $5 and "DID" it.. I want to encourage you, my dear brothers and sisters in Christ to put the Word of God into action in your life. Jesus said. "Why do you call me Lord, Lord and DO not the things I say" "Be ye doers of the Word and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves" "He that hears My Words and does them, him I liken to a man who built his house upon a rock..". We seem to go to God in prayer for our financial needs (and there is nothing wrong with that at all) but Jesus didn't say 'pray' about money. He said give' ~ and it would be given to you.. You don't need money, you just need faith. Faith is simply acting upon the Word of God. Everyo...
